Dear LeechPack users,
This news release only affects users with Paypal subscriptions, if you subscribed through CCBill you should not be concerned about this.
During the past week Paypal decided to stop their relationship with LeechPack.com by shutting us down from their payment gateway and holding all our assets. At the moment we cannot release much more information regarding the reason of this as we do not know it ourselves and even though we have been attempting to get in touch with their AUP department, each and everytime we attempted to establish a communication, via e-mail or via telephone, their representatives had nothing to comment about it other that the account will not be reestablished.
Due to this decision on Paypal's side, we decided to stop billing new and old accounts through their gateway.
What does this means and who is affected by this?
1) Users who held subscriptions through Paypal can wait until their payment periods are over and get a new account through CCBill.
2) We will never bill you again through Paypal, if you had an active subscription with us on Paypal, you should cancel it as soon as possible. According to our account status, you will not be billed again by Paypal themselves, but just to avoid any misunderstanding we recommend you to stop all subscriptions with LeechPack.com through Paypal.
3) Even though our assets have been held by Paypal, rest assured that all subscriptions will be honoured and everyone will have what they paid for.
4) For those who attempted to re-subscribe through CCBill without success, give us a few more days as we are integrating a new payment gateway: Plimus. Some of you probably already know about it.
5) Each account will be given a 48 hours grace period as usual, which means that after your subscription expires, our system will grant an extra 48 hours of usage for free.
If there are any further questions about this, please let us know. Thank you very much for your understanding!
S. will be making a statement soon about this issue and possibly e-mailing all our member base to notify on the ways Paypal works, there are definitely some obscure reasons behind this decision from Paypal that we cannot communicate until we have more information.
