I guess this topic was long overdue, one of our users reminded me that we should get it going ASAP for everyone to check how everything is evolving, this should be greatly useful for our Tech Department as well, we have an internal bug tracking solution but, in all honesty, sometimes some things are missed or neglected. S. and Jay gave me the green light (as I'm more in touch with our community directly) so I just took the liberty to get it going, hope noone on the team gets angry :P
Please feel free to update this topic with any bug/problem/issue you encounter while interacting with our platform. Also, for best results, a brief description of the problem works wonders when spotting issues on our side! Even though we use LeechPack, sometimes we have our own workarounds or know a bit more of how it works from the inside.
For Feature Requests, please use this forum: http://help.leechpack.com/forums/157086-feature-requests
For angry complaints, please use this other one: http://help.leechpack.com/forums/216932-confessions
For specific requests, please send me a ticket!
1) Slow Download Speeds:
Users from several locations reported terribly slow download speeds, there's more information about this issue here: http://help.leechpack.com/entries/336215-my-download-speed
We are still waiting for a definite response from our provider, in the meantime, if you are affected by this problem, please take the time to do a traceroute from your pc to our servers and submit it to me. Here's a brief step-by-step guide on how to do it: http://help.leechpack.com/entries/243765-help-my-downloads-from-your-servers-are-too-slow
2) Incorrect Bandwidth Tracking:
We hired a third party who is already working on implementing a solution for this. Here's a brief explanation of the issue, from one of our CEOs: http://help.leechpack.com/entries/308216-news-from-the-inside
If everything goes as planned, it will be fully integrated this month. And, as usual, if you feel your bandwidth was wrongfully deducted, please submit a ticket request inmediately and I'll credit that traffic without asking any questions!
3) DNS, Database and Download Problems:
These issues were solved, we deeply apologize for all the inconveniences these problems caused.
The DNS problems started happening on the 26th of November and continued until everything propagated again. It's hard to be precise for the end date. But we estimate that around the 28th everything was back to normal for everyone.
On November 30th, we had a database failure, which spread accross all it's mirrors causing a halt to the service and problems with several subscriptions (especially those that were scheduled for rebill on the 30th), this has been solved, the databases are now trimmed, clean and should be working faster than before as well.
On December 2nd, our downloads queue was stopped for several hours by our Engineers to perform maintenance and a bunch of needed upgrades. The Torrent Engine was brought back to normality as well.
We understand that many of you rely on our service on a daily basis. We will be giving a bonus to all our user base early next week to compensate for these problems.
These three items are the most important to address at the moment, please feel free to add your comments, suggestions or problems below so I can update the topic.
Thanks!

N4dld,
FileFactory is back since yesterday!
Is FileFactory working for anyone? It is a popular file sharing site, however, it has never worked for me since I joined... The system does allow you to add any FileFactory file to your download list, but it sits there 'Queued" until you eventuatlly get an error message "File Downloading Error, please delete it". If they cannot fix this, shouldn't they take FileFactory off of the list of services?
ah, is it just me or for the past several days FileServe just doesn't work....c'mon!
I have been having problems downloading from my accounts from Dec 13, 2010. One is already 84% of 1 gigabyte data and other is 8% of 9 GB data. All from torrents. Please look into it. Thanks :)
